Tigers STATE bound! Congratulations to the boys 400 yard free-style realy (Ben Hernandez, Rashan Patterson, Randy Newsome & Timothy Buisson) on qualifying (4:57.17) for the State Championship at the South State Championship in Laurel, today. This is the first time in, at least, seven (7) years, that a HHS relay team has qualified for State Championships. Swimming State Championships began in 1992, and we're trying to determine if a relay team, from HHS, has ever qualified for STATE. If not, this would be the first time in 17 years. Timothy Buisson also qualified for the State Championships in the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:22.34 (5th place overall) and the 100 yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:16.72 (7th place overall). Timothy has qualified in five other events, but can only compete in two individual events at STATE. This is his third consecutive year competing in the State Swimming Championships. 10/17/09
